Accreditation

Accreditation is the official recognition by accreditation body of competence of a legal entity of the Republic of Belarus or a foreign legal entity in the performance of conformity assessment activities in a particular field of accreditation.
The legal and organizational basis for accreditation, ensuring a unified state policy in this field is determined by the Law of the Republic of Belarus of October 24, 2016. No. 437-Z “On assessment for compliance with technical requirements and on accreditation of conformity assessment bodies”.
The functions of the national accreditation body of the Republic of Belarus are performed by the Belarusian State Centre for Accreditation (hereinafter – BSCA), which is the only accreditation body in the field of conformity assessment of the National Accreditation System of the Republic of Belarus.
In the implementation of the BSCA activities are taken into account:
Law of the Republic of Belarus of 20.07.2006 No. 163-Z “On ensuring the uniformity of measurements”
Fundamental documents of the National Accreditation System of the Republic of Belarus
